Waves of changes swept World of Warcraft this week with the release of patch 4.0.3a The shattering. Many class changes have players scrambling to get the new skills and changes sorted out. One of the hardest hit classes so far is the Warlock, with over 15 of most commonly used skills and spells varying by spec reduced by on average 10-12%. Warlocks worldwide are now faced with the challenge of rebuilding and re-learning in accordance to these drastic changes. Arguments have been made that this is a long over due set of changes, while others say the focus missed it mark completely and should have probably landed on another class. Only time and practice will tell if anyone can take a Warlock to the top of the DPS charts in the near future, with these changes it most certinly will be a battle.
